I would like to invite all parents of athletes to join the Sports Boosters Club and volunteer to help at the concession stand when you child is not playing a sport. The concession stand brings in 95% of the money we use to support the boosters at Annapolis. Every year, we lose a great group of hard working parents whether children graduate. Please give some of you free time this year to the Sports Boosters. We also need a Vice President, Concession Stand Coordinator, Hotline Representative, and Promotions Coordinator. Our meetings are usually held on the first Wednesday of each month.
You may also support the Boosters by purchasing Annapolis High School sportsware- sweatshirts, sweatpants, and t-shirts. Also, if you were a member last year, remember to renew your membership for 2002-2003.
We raised #30,000 during the 2001-2002 year and funded:

• $200 stipends for each athletic team
• $4,000 in Scholar Athlete Awards to 6 seniors: 3 girls, and 3 boys
• Sports Banquet at the end of the fall, winter, and spring seasons
• A new sound system in the gym

The projects we are looking to fund this year are weights for the weight room and irrigation and reseeding of the upper fields. We are looking for volunteers to help these projects become a reality.
These are just a few of the many projects the sports boosters support at Annapolis High School. Please give us a call to join the Sports Boosters Club and help at the concession stand.
