The junior varsity girls' basketball team, under head coach Steve Rogers, finished a deceptive 4-16. Rogers, who had nine freshman and four sophomore on his roster, said his young players never lacked for enthusiasm and learned quickly. The record, he said, does not reflect the improved play late in the season. The Panthers were led by sophomore guard Dee Williams with 5.7 ppg.
